The conference officially begins with the Welcome Reception at 5 pm on Monday, March 7. The conference ends at noon on Thursday, March 10.
Embassy Suites (Block sold out)
The Embassy Suites is located a few short blocks from the San Diego Convention Center—an easy walk or a one-stop trolley ride. A complimentary shuttle service from the airport is available to Embassy Suites and Internet and breakfast are complimentary.
The hotel rate for single or double occupancy is $189 a night. There is an additional charge if there are more than two guests per room. Note: Many of our schools save money by having attendees share rooms. Additionally, this is the only hotel in our block offering a completely complimentary breakfast.
Embassy Suites features 337 deluxe suites consisting of a living room area with a sleeper sofa, private bedroom, bath and dining/work area. Each suite contains two televisions, two dual-line telephones with voice mail and dataports, wireless high speed Internet access, wet bar, refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker with supplies.
The Westin Gaslamp (Block sold out)
The Westin Gaslamp is located right in the middle of San Diego's historic Gaslamp District. While the hotel is about seven blocks from the convention center, this location provides guests with an opportunity to explore this fantastic, exciting part of San Diego.
The rate at The Westin Gaslamp is $175 a night. Additionally, you will receive complimentary internet and a $10 coupon toward breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.
San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina (Block sold out)

The San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina is located next to the convention center. This is the closest of the three host hotels.
The Marriott room rate is $179 a night for single or double occupancy. In-room Internet (normally $12.95 a night) is complimentary. In addition, the conference will offer each one of our guests a $10 coupon per day toward breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.
NOTE: The San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina will be completing a renovation of the hotel while we are there. We have asked that our guests be booked into the South Tower, where renovations will be complete. The pool at the hotel will be under renovation and will NOT be available for your use.
Travel Options
Train
Why drive to San Diego when you can take a train? We strongly encourage you to take Amtrak to the conference as all our events will be accessible by foot or by trolley and parking in the area is expensive.
The San Diego Railroad Station is located very close to the San Diego Convention Center and our host hotels. Once you get off the train, you simply walk across the street to board a trolley for a one-stop ride to the convention center.
Airlines
The San Diego International Airport is just three miles from the convention center.
Southwest Airlines has daily flights from Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Jose.
United Airlines has daily flights from San Francisco.
Virgin America has daily flights from San Francisco.
